thanks man, my last two tanks had that bump out so im kinda used to it , in the past id usually pile up rock there, not too sure what im gonna do as far as aquascaping yet , i might be finding out tomorrow lolLooks awesome! Nice work! How do you like the overflow? I’ve had my eye on the same tank and was wondering if it sticks out and gets in the way.
Thank You! how did i survive that long with out a tank, i dunno im wondering how i survived period! lol real happy to be back though!Really nice setup, I wonder how did you survived that long without a tank, lol.

Thanks Jada, best thing i couldve done was build an oversized stand about 6-12" taller than average and 4" bigger in depth , i just got my calcium reactor today and it fits perfectly! That tank looks REALLY NICE.
Question: i think i messed up, i made a durso overflow but i made it out of one inch fittings, will making it out of say 1 1/2-2" fittings then reducing down to 1" really make it that much more quiet? This thing now is louder than before lol , 1 1/2 should fit , but i think 2" will be too tight in the overflow, itll hit the return line, any suggestions? ( i hope its ok for me to post this here )
I picked up some 1 1/2” pipe and fittings but there too big to fit in my overflow , I’m thinking of trying to modify the pipe and street elbow together somehow with out the Tee fittingLet’s see a photo of it. I always feel larger allows more air and water to go down easier. And also it could be noisy cause it hasn’t pretty much broken in yet.

I’m gonna see if I have a 2” holesaw or whatever the outside diameter is and drill a hole into the pipe, then drill top down on the street elbow to see if they line up , if they do since there’s no pressure then I’ll prime and glue and clamp them together hoping they bond lol here goes nothing , I’ll post a pic afterI picked up some 1 1/2” pipe and fittings but there too big to fit in my overflow , I’m thinking of trying to modify the pipe and street elbow together somehow with out the Tee fitting
