Apex temp probe problem.

Hi guys, my temp probe from my apex is going crazy. Its telling me my temp is 88 and turned of the heater the tank is cold at 70. I tried to calibrate the probe however that didn't help. The heater is placed no where near the probe. Please help im scared my tank will crash.

Is there any growth on the temp probe? Also what is the probe plugged into on the apex?

main unit. apparently my probe gave out. my friend had a similar issue last week and it nuked his tank. the temperature probe was reading his temp at 60 so it turned on his heater. all his corals got cooked. he reached out to apex and apperently the temp probe is something you want to change once a year.

Mine just went. Temp read at 121 for a while. Fortunately only $30 to replace
