Thought I would scrap this tank but during this insane period of time I decided to go piece by piece and make it a project I’ll try and get some shots of the tanks former glory .... and hopefully will go to show any tank can be redone to beyond your standards... glass is forever the wood and silicone can be the tricky part for us all huh ?...???
the tank was a water stained mess I got it back to the original oak with hand and electric sandin
I decided to go with a white wash to make the corals and lighting pop and give it a beachhead feel
on my to do list is many things but of the top of my head I have to replace and clean 6 hydra 26 units fans and frames
re plumb with colorful plumbing
figure out a calcium reactor setup I have
make a control panel for my dower return pumps and all other electric I want it all out from in the stand
everything else has been done or ordered hinges screws silicone for that front top seal that ruined the stand and the tank to begin with
Could definitely use some help with this and opinions oh yeah I also removed 150lbs of rock for a more open scape this time around . No need to limit massive corals
