Thank you Aaron! Fat they are.lol They love their seaweed!! They only get mysis, silversides, prawns, formula 1 & 2 cubes soaked in Selcon - Garlic Xtreme & Vitachem 1 to 2 times a week and formula 1 & 2 pellets ones or twice a week.
Unfortunately the sailfin has scars from the bout with lateral line disease he contracted during that episode with following Todd's (from Underwater Creations) advice that killed quite a few of my fish and all the beneficial bacteria in this tank. Took darn near 2 years to recover from that one, but it is doing great now.

Very nice tank you have there. Do you have any problems with your Maroon Clown digging?

Should I lie and say she is a perfect little angel?;) Nah, she is the biggest PITA. Always fanning the sand, nipping at my hand when ever I go into the tank.

Thanks for the compliment...

BTW, it was great to meet you............

Time for a little update on the fowlr as well. The fowlr went through another mini crash.;( Reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy unhappy with this tank. It seems to do really good for a while, and suddenly for no apparent reason it goes through a crash. This time the loss was really heavy.
Losses:
Purple tang

Long Nose Hawk & Tomini tang

and my little Flame Angel
All that is now left in it is the Desjardini Sailfin, GS Maroon clown, Scopas tang, and the 2 eels (snow flake & zebra)
Very disheartening.

Thanks Jon,
I have no idea what happened this time. Two years ago was a bout with ich, and my using and ich medication that caused that one.
This time fish just started dying for no apparent reason until all that was left is the ones mentioned above.

So I've gotten really disgusted with this tank. Would love to just get rid of it, but I love my eels so I guess I'll keep it.

What I'm thinking of doing is to get rid of as much of the sand as I can without breaking down the tank. The sand is always being disturbed by the GS Maroon, and possibly the eels as well creating mounds of it against the front glass.
I wonder if the sand bed (2" to 3" in some places) being disturbed is what causes the out breaks in this tank. And therefore I plan on removing it this morning. At least the sand that they piled up on the front glass.

What do you guys, and gals think? The only fish left in it now are the sailfin, scopas, maroon, snowflake, and zebra eels.

Thanks Chraddam, yep fish only.;) The couple of corals are there because I didn't want them in my reef anymore. And I decided to experiment since I had dosed the tank with "copper safe" in the past. Well, they are still in there.

The remaining fish have been fine since the last outbreak.;) It's been a few months now, I think they're fine. Though I am concerned about adding anyone else in there.:irked:
