PR Cube Thread

i picked up this awesome 37g?? cube from delv and i will take some time to set it up properly. i usually rush into set ups but not this time.

Tank
-non drilled 37g cube w/ glass lid and wood stand
-Two pieces of back to nature background(one on the back wall and one on the bottom)

-modded mj inside this piece of back to nature background

Sump
- need to make custom sump
- DAS BX 1(with mesh wheel)
- filtersock on drain
- dont have a return pump yet(don't know what size to get)

Light
- 250w DE Aquamedic pendant and Aquamedic ballast
- 14k phoenix bulb

Livestock
- hope to make this my first sps tank
- only a small amount of small fish(a pair of clowns, a greenbanded goby, an exquisite wrasse, a yellowtail pygmy angel and a vanderbilt chromis)

Puerto Rico gobies(i saw a thread about these guys mating in someones tank)

Live Rock
- will be taken from Puerto Rico ocean(is this possible??)

Live Sand
- will be taken from Puerto Rico ocean(is this possible??)

the angel i had once and i got it from mstern. as for the gobies if i can't find them in PR i can get them shipped from live aquaria or other vendors

Hey dean didn't quote anything about the sand. Good luck with the New setup...
I still haven't really done much with the 65 I got from you, aside from water and live rock. I'm waiting for sept (no need for chiller) making it a fowlr with semi aggressives.

It's been a long time since I've had problems login onto rc. Have you tried contacting them, and asking them for help?

i can't even do that. everytime i try to log on or post or contact a mod it says i don't have permission.

1 piece of back to nature bg glued in place(backwall)

1 modded mj glued inside other piece of back to nature bg

things to do:
- sand and repaint stand black

- paint back of tank(can't decide how to do this yet, i would like to start with a dark grey on the top and progress into black or i might just do all black)
- glue second piece of back to nature background(bottom)
- silicone a thin layer of sand to the bottom of the tank
- build canopy or hang pendant from ceiling

i'm not too worried about the different tones on the rocks. they will eventually be covered by coraline.
