Hey everyone, this is my first tank. I started it three weeks ago with a ton of help from Voges82. The tank and stand was an old freshwater tank of mine. I have a redsea prizm skimmer, 660 Icecap ballast w 4 vho bulbs. I made the canopy and I am browing the powerheads till I find a good deal on some Hydor #1's or #2's. I purchased the rock and sand from fellow reefers in the Madison, WI area. I currnetly have 4 chromis. Thanks for looking and all suggestions are welcomed. (Do you think I have to much rock?)

If you are planning to have sps corals, I suggest looking at Hydor #3. I just purchased one for my 50 gallon and I wouldn't be happy with a #2. I thought #3 is sufficient.

How many pounds of rock do you have?

Sorry about that. Let's see if this works.

thats plenty of rocks. If you have less rocks you'll have less places for corals. You can always sell pieces of rocks if you end up wanting less down the road.

Do you have a sump? I have a 55 with 2 koralia 1's and two mj1200' on a JBJ ocean pulse quadra. The hydors run alternatining every 3 mins and the MJ1200 alternate every 6 mins. In addition to my Rio 2500 return from the proclear pro 150 fuge sump.
