Is the Emperor the only filtration that you are running? Do you have any media in it? I have a recommendation for you. If i would be you i would hit the heater somewhere behind the LR. Its just tacky in my opinion where you have it. Otherwise, the tank looks great and nice krystal clean water Keep up the good work

Yes the Emperor and an Aqua C hang on skimmer. I put the heater on the side so I can view at a glance and see if it is working, but I agree it would look better if it was not visible. Also I forgot I have 6 hermit crabs doing cleanup. Thanks

get a thermometer to check your water temp and then you will know for a def that its working. I would definetely get a canister in there as well if you are not planing on getting a sump or wet/dry filter. I dont think that emperor is going to do much as it goes for filtration. But good luck.
