Bonomo53's Reefer 425

Well for those of you who haven't followed my past tank thread my 93 Marineland cube that had been up for a year got some air pockets in the seams so it was recommended to replace it. This time instead of going with another ML i decided to give Red Sea a try. I picked up the tank two weeks ago but unfortunately the bulk head that is attached to the tank was cracked and red sea specific so i couldn't replace it. I thought it would have been a nightmare getting a replacement but thanks to Rich at Aquarium Village i had a brand new replacement tank in 4 days. Now the fun begins.

I love, love, love those 425's. In fact I really like the whole Red Sea series but those dimensions are awesome. Can't wait to see it come to life.

It wasn't that bad just a very long day.
I ended up dropping my vivids rainbow delight colony and basically making a bunch of tiny frags. :smash: But other then that the corals seem ok. I didn't lose any fish but i have to keep an eye on everything the next few weeks.

One of my favorite stories is of the shop owner who bagged a sps colony for a customer and put the bag up on the counter only to have it got knocked over and smashed. The customer was so embarassed but the store owner says "its ok you just turned a 100 piece into a 1000 in pieces...lol

Thank you so far the only thing that was lost was a neon goby. So far all coral is good.

Yeah i still have it. Its on top of the jawbreaker mushroom rock. Lost most of its color and almost lost the entire piece around 5 months ago when my dosing pump malfunctioned.
