ok since my tank has been doing really well, but my corals arent the colors that i want them to be whats the next thing i should try... my best guess is that my nutrients are very low.... i dont feed alot and what i feed is omega flakes and freeze dried cyclopeeze... im scared to feed mysis shrimp and also the pappones due to the phosphate issue i had with it a while back... do i have much to worry about know that i have a skimmer that is performing the way it should... as i said my colors are good i want them to be better... any suggestions would be great...

since i cant find an achilles tang at the size i want, i was thinking about going with a blonde naso tang and a Copperband butterfly fish and maybe a few smaller fish within the next month... i figured that would help with nutrients...

thanks in advance guys

Tony - while i can't answer the questions you posted, i just wanted to say that i just found this thread for the first time, and I am really awed at your set-up. The stand is beautiful, your tank is lovely, and i am really impressed at the plumbing (I'm still trying to figure out plumbing for my tank.... I just don't get some of the spatial/technical stuff... am trying, tho!)

anyway, it looks amazing and best of luck with working out these questions!

Hey Tony, you know this hobby is all about patience. If you truly like the achilles don't give up on it. Keep looking, I'm sure you will eventually come across the one you want. You know how it goes, you settle for the naso, and the next day you'll find that achilles.:wink1:

Naso is one of my favorite fish, just remember you may have to look at supplementing something cause once you get any tang you are gonna have to QT it for a month before putting it in the tank.

Try to get a pair. Male & Female Blonde Naso they are great together. Mine use to come to my hand when ever I put it in the tank. They ate from my hand. And were always in every pic I tried to take. They were such hams. I miss them.:sad2:
