Yo T, you need a phosphate meter man.. Replacing phosban weekly is going to get expensive. At least with the meter you can get a general idea of when it's exhausted.

its only for the time being since my phosphates are high.... im gonna get em checked out again by the end of this week... i would have done 160 gallons of water changes withing 2 weeks and running phosban very strong... then hopefully my phosphates are close to an ideal level... ill get one, one day... for know a friend of mine has one and hopefully he dont get tired of doing it for me

I know the phosphates have went down considerably, by all the color that the corals have been regaining... :sgrin:

aight got some good news...

my phosphates are down to .07... this is some great news after so much hard work... took me a week and 1/2 to get it there but i still have a little more work to do... i figure another 4 water changes at 20 gallons at a time and i should be at .01-.03.... pics will be up in my tank link on the 21st...

water changes are good Tony, but using phosban or rowaphos should knock down the rest of the po4. I'm using rowaphos, after my po4 jumped from .02 - .09, the rowaphos brought the po4 back down to .03 in just a week with no water changes.
