ok so here we go had a 220 DD broke it down went with a 60 rimless Cube ran out of room upgraded to a 93 rimless cube. Ran out of room so here is the newest project 150 DD. wanted to go with the 160XL but the wife was not to happy about that. LOL

First and for most I need to thank my 2 best friends BBash and JonnyJ without these 2 guys my visions would always just be rattling in my head. As you may or may not know when I do a tank its never off the rack and even if its starts up that way, it never stays that way. As you could refer back to my 220DD custom thread or my 60 or 93 gallon rimless tanks.

Broke down the old 93 gallon and put all livestock rock and corals into a 55 that we setup on the closet (so I'm officially back to being a closet reefer).
Lots of work to get this done the thought was simple the planning and execution was not maybe we should of had the beers at the end.

So here we go 150 DD custom first off the bat custom stand and ripped out the overflow drilled the glass yet on another tank me saying the overflow has to be ripped out as usual and BBash with the balls of steel to put drill to brand new tanks with me cheering him on( Oh wait if the tank cracks its my lose, so maybe Bobs balls are not made of steel after all.LOL).

I know Bob sometimes you rather give back the money then hear my mouth for weeks afterwards.

so we are at the point that we will star doing some rock scape time for JonnyJ to get his artistic juices flowing going to make sure I have a lot of towels on hand this may get messy. Yes Jonny got the glue you wanted yes the big one I'm not being cheep. Yes Jonny got the acrylic Rods and the drill bit. Yes I'm sure. LOL

We are trying a new glue that just came out distributed by BRS its called Aquascapefix.

Went with the rimmed tank? I didnt think you would let that happen. Are you making a closed loop out of the old drilled holes? Or just sealing those off?

Sealed them off going with a 36x36 rimless would have been crazy money. Don't think I'm not flipping around taking the rimmed off the tank. Lol

If you decide to take the rim off, you may as well throw some sand on your floor and get everyone in bathing suits on standby, because your house will become a beach at some point in the near future.

I did a closed loop on the 93 with the old holes really wasn't worth it in my opinion

Yeah, I remember seeing the closed loop, I'll be honest, wasn't a fan when I saw it. Looked pretty awkward with 2x ~6" PVCs coming out of the sand.
