Ive used vinyl before and its a pain to do. You have to make sure you get double sided colored and your going to have to cut the bubbles out. Might just want to paint with latex. Just my 2 cents.

+1 very easy to paint the back glass.

Total cost

i think with a small can of paint with rollers and roller total will be around 15 bucks. 3-4 coats and your done

It's gonna take a while to make that much RODI lol. I'd start filling it up even if you don't have the sump yet just to get a head start.
