John that manifold looks just like mine. Is one end gonna be capped? If so do yourself a favor and put aa small rodi valve on the capped end to bleed out the air once in a while or you'll wind up loosing pressure and volume to the last valve in the manifold.

So I finished this before I saw your post. So yes it is capped already. Is there any way to add that valve cause this ain't coming apart.

Two choices I would guess. Remove the last valve and do over or drill and tap the end cap so that you can screw in an John Guest valve.

Can you explain drilling it for me. If I do that how exactly would the valve stay in.

And by valve I assume we are soaking about a ball valve?

Was rolling along today until

Bad news:
Went to get some water to refill my topoff tank in my 90 and found that the water in my brute container was frozen solid. Fearing the worst is reached for my rodi filter and it too was frozen solid. 4 of the 5 canisters on the system were cracked and I had to spend $140 to replace all the filters and canisters. Looks like the booster pump made it through, thankfully. To make mattered worse, the 40b intended for the refugium and the 20g high intended for the top off for the basement system were found shattered in the garage. Unfortunately I store all my equiptment in my garage and it is as cold as the outside weather and that meant single digits for the last few days. For some reason I forgot all about it.

That's it. Thanks for looking.

Wait a second????? You keep your rodi in the garage? If so, that was asking for trouble.

Yeah I know. I got away with it for a while. Last year I took it out to make water and noticed that it was a little frosty. You think I would have learned.

Nope I didn't.

Time to move that bad boy to. The basement near the sump and filtration units.

That's exactly where it's going. In fact that was on the agenda for today. Now I wait for new canisters
