so i have been testing once a week .I think im start testing more starting next week like monday , wednesday , friday .

im useing api test kits

april 6 ----nitrite 0.25 ----- ammonia 0.50
april 20 ---- nitrite 0 ---- ammonia 0 ----high range ph 7.8
april 27 ---- nitrite 0 ----ammonia 0 -----high range ph 8.0
may 4 ---- nitrite 0 ---- ammonia 0 ---- high range ph 7.8

also its kinda hard telling between 7.8 and 8.0 color for high range ph its two diffrent browns light brown and a darker brown

When I went to aquarium village they did not have the 25$ doller test kit (the one with like 3-5 different test kit ) the only had ammonia ,nitrite and high range ph , they also told me I just need these 3 for now .but I'm have to get more test kits I need to no nitrate like you said Buck0land and starting this week I'm going to start testing every other day instead of once a week And in about 2-3 weeks I be setting up one LED kit ..

Pictures will be posted later today ....with lil bit of info on what's goin on...I also think my skimmer is starting to brake in I see fom coming out of the output of the cup just noticed it but it's still over flowing ....also a towel fell in my sump I heard the rocks hit the glass and was like what was that and check it and fixed it within like 5-7 min (i was sleeping somthin told me to check the tank ) luckily I caught it just in time before I had another sand storm in the DT:tired:

So I just updated the thread like what2 days ago and today I was lookin at my sump and idk look like someone moved the rock so I put them how I had it and turn to my left and I'm like what the heck looked at my skimmer for like 2 min and this is what I saw sodo you guys and gals think it just broke in??
(I cleaned the cup ) but that not what happen

Just noticing that your water level looks a little high in your sump.
My concern is if the electric goes out the sump will overflow.
Perhaps you did a check already.

Hey thanks for the concern . But I do that on purpose because I don't have a ATO so I fill it alil more then I have to so I dont have to fill my sump every 2-3 days so I fill my 5 g bucket to top and only add more water roughly 4-5 days to the sump before the water level is really low I also fill it alil more then I have to because my skimme splashes water so the water level being high it does not splash a much as if I had it were it should be ..and that being said is the power does go out it would deft over flow it was about were the pic is if not alil inch taller in the pic when I stop the return pump to fix my sump

Get an ATO its deffinetly worth getting.. it helps with stability in your reef with a constant level of salinity and you dont have to over fill your sump... look into they are very easy to make and affordable..

Wish i new where i can get somthin small like a bottle but hold 5 gall plus. So i can just shake what ever i add to the ato

Update for the sump change the blue hose i had a metal clamp and it was createing rust. Took the pexi glass of the top of the sump and did that to the skimmer and change the sand....yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa

So here a update. You guys are gonna hate me .i got some corals and cant post the pictures lol .and got some cheato has LIFE lol.also got some live rock nice lil pieces and some what of a big update for me ill be seting up 4 leds for the corals that i got and hopefully i can take pictures while i set them up temporary .also thinking of making a new stand and not go O.K. On the wood ,
Just no room and im have this tank for a long time so might as well do do it now then stocking my tank with rock and fishes and corals.

Devil hand on right and green star polyps. On left .i could not take pictures i was frustrated cuz my solder was not hot enough to put the wire on the led other then that it was kinda easy

Im staying with this aqua scape untill i come back from fl in a month ..i like it theres about one corals on each rock. this is becoming interesting now

Devil hand was open but it feel from were i had it n it closed when i moved it . Kenya tree was very tiny it was closed and it opened up last night .n now im waiting for the green star polyps to open i can see the lil green stuff comin out of it i hope it opens before tomorrow
