he's eating stuff from the glass i don't know what it is though. so hopefully there is enough food in the tank since he's not eating prepared foods

i still want those shrooms we saw.
i'll just have two tanks, instead of three.

my reidi (two females). the one in the back has turned yellow and the one in the front is turning white. i feed mysis and/or brine twice a day. they eat like pigs.

Are they eating frozen food or live? I am thinking about coverting my tank into seahorse tank right now. That temperature do you keep your tank? I heard it should be around 70 to 76. I have a chiller so it's not a problem.

How's your pipe fish doing? Anyway, nice tank.

yes they eat frozen mysis and brine. they know when it's feeding time because i turn off the skimmer. my temp stays @ 77 give or take a few degrees. i always have the ac on so temp is not much of a problem.

the piefish is still alive i don't know if he actually eats since he doesn't eat frozen. i do see him pick @ the glass. what's he picks up off the glass i have no idea.

scarf_ace I was looking at the fish in live aquaria and I found this about the pipefish, you probably already know it but here it is:

"Care Level: Expert Only"

" The diet should consist of small live invertebrates such as vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, baby guppies, grass shrimp, mosquito larva, and daphnia. If the Banded Pipefish will eat them, frozen mysid shrimp provide good nutrition. It needs to be fed at least three times per day, and is a very slow eater because of its tiny tubular mouth."

thanks for the 411 equinoz. i tried feeding it arctic pods tonight. wasn't sure if he ate any. the tank has a HOB fuge full of pods. i know there is plenty of live food for him in the tank. i will try the daphnia.
