Sam..If I tell u I have to kill u..lol..jk. It's cork board..I fig it can hold the weight of the tank/water/sand/rock better

ah, good thinking!!! I have some dinner plate cork board i can use...j/k, my wife would kill me. But it looks good. Are you going to build a trim around the base of the tank to hide the cork board? or it's going to be how it is in your picture? Still debating what i want to do with the stand, if i should be wrapping around the base of the tank with molding/trim. But yours is looking red hot!!! Five stars for you

I am using a 1/4" yoga mat that will squish down thin but still provide cushion between the tank and the stand. This is only for 36x18x18 though.

If your tank dimensions are larger you may want to go with cork board like Ken is on this one. Just design your stand with a lip that will just cover the thickness when compressed of the cork board and you are all set.

Thanks you Sam for ur kind words.. But I will be covering it with molding and of course staining it like the stand. Since I started to build the stand b4 I got the tank so I have to use the molding now.

Since there was only 1 side return I drilled the other side so there will be even flow on both sides.

How long has that pukani been curing for, and do you plan to run the 100 and the 57 concurrently?

A 900 gph pump is good money bro, I would even put a 700 gph, I'm a strong believer of slower circulation, the more time ur water is in ur fuge the better instead of just recirculating around over and over

Now that you mention that Wil , I think my eheim 1260 may be overkill for my 57 !!! But I will use it for my two reactors as well so maybe it will be just fine
