Remix of a Classic...My 120 Upgrade

I have been looking to do this upgrade for some time. I have had this 120 stored in my apartment for over a year while we were waiting to close on our first home. I also had a 125 that was stored that I emptied in prep for the move in Jan, which was setup as a FOWLR in my new home office (Tank Thread coming). Now all of the holding tanks are gone and my reef is born from the past tank of Rookie07 with a few key changes.

Kiwi did a great job on the rock work. I only tweaked it a little bit after the tank cleared up.

Not too long only a couple weeks. I'm hoping he last for a long time, but I know they have a tendency to just died.

Hi, nice tank. I have had my Copperband for 5 years, if I could even figure out how to add pictures to this site (I know there are plenty of threads with instrustions), I would show you. He or She is fat, and hangs with my yellow tang picking at scaps in the tank.

Thanks for asking. I'm taking it slow. It's settling down and I'm adding more coral little by little. I'm still trying to figure out my final fish list lol. My tomato clowns keep kicking up sand, the lyretail are aggressive and I've been unable to convince them to go into my diy trap so I'm thinking of more "creative" ways to get them. I rigged up an LED setup and I'm liking the look and less heat. It looks like my major algae problems are gone and it's great that as the tank matures I am doing less which translates to less conflicts in and out of the tank lol! My routine is basically change water, topoff, feed. I run carbon and biopellets, dose calc, alk and mag and so far things look much better.

I was just thinking I need to post some new pics...and maybe a video. I'll do that this weekend. I also started a new shallow reef with a deep blue tank I won from Aquatic Life Direct. There alot of water in this house! My 125 FOWLR is final taking shape again too.

I figure I'm overdue for an update. My reef has been progressing pretty well. It is very interesting watching everything grow or not grow for that matter, and figuring out how to help the situation. Thanks to everyone for all of the advice, frags, etc along the way. Onto the photos:
