yea what i had to do to get the skimmer working properly was to raise it and clamp it on the side, so i put that piece that helps gets rid of bubbles from the skimmer and then added a filter pad in the first chamber and that helped a little bit

yea the water level is maybe an inch above the powerhead

Mark I had the same skimmer on my 75 gal. Do you have the bubble diffuser in place & if so is it at the correct height? Also it looks like you are skimming very wet - try dialing back the water leveladjustment dial.

the bubble defuser is in place, the skimmer is skimming fine. just bubble problem, im going to move it around to see if it helps stop
