Turning brown means not enough, and turning white means too much, right?

Mine is about 12 - 18 " below a 400W 12K Reeflux. Mine's color is perfect.

It might be slightly shaded, but not much.

Mine is at the bottom of my tank currently under Ushio 14K. It is a bright blue base color.

Is this the one you got from me, Chip? I have it at around 22" from a 400W Radium. It lightened up considerably when it was closer.

Yeah, same one. I moved it to where it's 10" and not directly under the bulb now...we'll see what happens. :/

mine is about 12-14" off center of a 250w 10k reeflux. It was quite light colored when I got it but it's since darkened to a nice bright blue. It came from SPStoner.

anyone keeping one under T-5? Mine is quite whitish now, but still slowly growing. I just rearanged my rockwork and added another MJ1200 to boost the flow around it....If that doesn't work I think I'll have to hack it off the rock and try putting it somewhere esle.

Mine is now shaded by a big torch, and is already showing signs of darkening. Some of it died off, it looks like, tho...but I'm not certain yet.
