I have getting rtn on some of my corals. I know it's a delicate subject but would like to get opinions from reefers as of what do you think it starts rtn and stn
x2...I have had an acro just RTN or STN for no reason that I can determine, but when it is wide spread those are usually the main culprits...The main culprits are usually rise in phosphates, an alk swing or pests such as redbugs or acro eating flatworms. Unfortunately Ive also been the victim of, "stn for no reason". Sometimes it stops, the coral heals itself and all is well, sometimes not so much. For more details post up some pics and some more details about the system.
Kres how are you adding the 90mls of vinegar? Dosing pump? I really have to check out what you have going on. Is your growth VERY fast?
