Hey Charlesr1958...Went to your page, and it does look like that. Haven't seen a skeletal disc attached to the rock though. It's about the size of a quarter. I'll try and spot feed it today.

It does not have a skeletal base. It is attached to a piece of rock,and it shrinks like a mushroom.

This came on a piece of rock that i got at the LFS. Just would like to know what it is. Thanks

I also like the XM bulbs. Using a 14K..Really like the blue look it gives. Also run it on a electronic ballast.

I had this piece for quite a long time. It was allways been brown. Just yesterday it lost all it's brown skin, and now it's this green color. The skin just flaked off. Any opinions???

Seen this leather at a petco. To me it looks like a finger leather. The guy said it was just a regular leather. I think he is wrong, what do you think?? Picked it up for $25.00

PH is normal. Alk is 3.5. I know thats a little low. My cal. was low too 300. Dripping kalk for that. Sal. is at 1.024 Temp around 80 Also had good water flow on it. I don't have that to dip it in. What else could i use. How about Seachem Reef iodide?

Well it has been a little over a week, and this leather dosen't look to good. What do you guys think? What could be the cause?

Yes i moved a power head over it when i put it in the tank. Read that they like lots of water movement. Just want to be sure.....

Just purchased this leather. It was fully open at the LFS. It has now been over 4 hours, ans still has not opened. Alk might be a little low, all other water parameters are good. Plus other corals are doing good. Do I need to just give it some more time?

I just bought a Euroreef, and so far it is the best skimmer I owned. It does pull a cup a week out of my tank also.

I am ruuning a 175watt 15K XM bulb, and 2 atinic VHO bulbs. Im looking to purchase 2 new VHO bulbs, and was wondering if I should go with a 50/50 bulb instead of getting atinics again. Not sure if my corals are getting enough daylight spectrum. Opinions???
