1. I may scale the Week 7 quiz for answer 4....we'll see how I fee at the end of the course. The logic some of you gave was really good.

2. The week 9 lecture and quiz has been sent in...if it isn;t up, it will be by the morning when i talk with James who just got back from off shore in the middle of Tropical Storm Annie - that we are still feeling the remains of...it rained BIG TIME tonight.

3. I know some of the required reading is not posted. Nor is it assigned. I will make this change on the lecture if it is not already up. If it is up, you only have the links and the reading and the presentation..the other articles are covered well enough in the material I gave you. You may, of course, have the articles posted for your own interest if you would like.

4. I promised some articles in the last chat...I will be scanning and sending those in for those of you who are interested.

Thanks all

Thanks Eric, I have to say that I have enjoyed having the door opened to access many of these articles through the class. Heck, I am even considering subscribing to a few of the journals (I hope they are not as expensive as the medical journals are...) have any suggestions for the best to look at overall and what their thrust is???

Best thing to do is join the International Society for Reef Studies...support is only about 80 a year and you get both Reef Encounter and the premiere journal, Coral Reefs that'll cost ya several hundred if you just subscribe.

Other favorite journals are:
Journal of Experimental Marine Biology and Ecology
Marine Ecology-Porgress Series
Marine Biology
Biological Bulletin of Wood's Hole

Yes they are expensive. Probably Biol Bull the cheapest.
