Hi Eric,

On this week's lecture on the section covering Order Zoanthiniaria the term macrocnemic is mentioned twice to separate Zoanthiniaria depending on their mesenteries. On the following four pages the term brachycnemic is used on some of the organisms photos.

The term brachycnemic belongs to those with an unpaired fifth pair?

Thanks in advance.

Savaraya.

Brachycnemic mesenteries are imperfect - they are an incompete fifth pair. Macrocnemic have a perfect, of complete fifith pair...the point of the difference is iportant. You may not understand the mesenteries until next week, but that's fine...just know that this is used to distiguish between the two groups.

:)

Eric
