Now that my reef is broken down, I am selling the setup. This is a 65 gallon RR very solid tank, along with a wooden stand, canopy, sump, some plumbing, 2 x 175 MH retrolighting and ballast. I am asking $300. Pickup is in Stony Brook and this is in my garage so no stairs to carry it up or down. Pictures are available of the tank while it was setup can be seen at this link. Copper was never used on this tank.

jj, i am very interested. i already have a 65 and another would be great, for the basement, tho. BUT i live in delaware and can't get up to see you until NEXT weekend. google sez it's about 4 hrs drive, so i don't wanna do that long a haul for nothing.
i saw the pix and wanna know a few things: how clean of scratches is the tank? how old are the bulbs? fan in canopy? what else that you have is for sale? what do u mean by "And maybe they'll get the setup as well." b/c more makes the trip even more worthwhile. a deposit through paypal is easy if you wanna hold it till then and if answers to my Q's make sense :). LMK. thanks

It is scratch free as far as I can see. There may be minor scratches but I haven't noticed them and the tank is glass, not acrylic, and pretty solidly build. The bulbs have at least another 6 months of life on them. There is a fan built into the canopy with a separate plug of its own and a hole cut for a second fan which I never got around to putting in. If I find it, you can have the second fan as well. I have a variety of miscellaneous equipment and frozen foods as well ( everything is boxed up at the moment ). " And maybe theyll.. " was a joke on Cheif's post so um disregard that. I can hold with Paypal deposit ( add the paypal fee ) and will also try to find whatever else I have laying around before you get here. Next weekend will be no good unless you come Sunday night. The weekend after is fine.

All the specs of my setup can be seen in that link. I had plenty of flow and had a full mix of corals doing well ( except for the crash while i was away ). I had to dial back the return pump because it was too strong. I have a lot of the equipment and would consider selling for the right price ( only because its easier to store pumps than a tank and I do plan on setting up once again when I have my own home, God willing, after schools done ) but the main challenge is figuiring out what boxes they are scattered amongst. There is some plumbing still attached to the tank and that's included.

Since I received a number of PM's asking for the tank dimensions, I figured I'll post them here.
The tank is 18" D x 25" H x 36 W. The hood is another 12" tall. The stand extends an inch or so beyond the tank on all four sides. I believe the stand is 36" tall ( couldnt get an exact because the boxes were in my way ) but in my thread above, I have the exact dimensions of the stand.

I want to clarify since I am getting offers for livestock. The livestock, rock and sand are all gone. I was pretty damn sick for a couple of weeks and had to move during that time as well so I sold it all to one buyer. I am sorry to those who's PM's I didnt answer as I normally dont work like that but unfortunately I was pretty sick and didnt get to the computer during most of that time.

It turns out the movers left a small indentation on one of the panes at the corner. I'll try to get a photo of it but there are no cracks and its on one pane, not both at the corner. I dont know if it affects the tank structurally or not so I'm willing to drop the price to $250. You can scrap the tank and still come on top as the stand, hood, lights and sump are worth alot more than that or you can try filling the tank or use it for reptiles. If you are interested, let me know and I can try and post a photo of the impression. Please make sure to measure you're car/van before coming by so you dont drive out here for nothing and waste your time and mine.
