I'm looking to trade my sixline wrasse for a cleaner shrimp.
The wrasse eats everything.
I'm trading him because he ate both my cleaner shrimps a few weeks ago and I miss seeing them in my tank.
He is in my sump and needs to go asap(this evening).

before you trade your fish - be aware that the 6 line (and 4 line) will eat any shrimp that are much smaller than themselves. You need to buy a large sized cleaner shrimp and introduce it with the lights off for it to have the chance it deserves. I have a 4 line that just ate a smallish peppermint shrimp, but my cleaner which is large is left alone.

Thank you for the advice.
I put the 6 line wrasse back into the display tank.
I felt bad leaving him in the sump.
I'm going to go ahead and buy a large cleaner shrimp and follow your directions.
Thanks Again!:splitspin

Huh. I have a 6-line and, while it will occasionally harass the shrimp in the tank, it hasn't caused any damage, not even to the relatively small sexy shrimp.
