They will get picked and bullied on until the hierarchy is established.

Take into consideration that the less dominant fish might die due to stress from the dominant fish.

No.. its relatively easy if you get a juvinile clown. It will become the male. The ones I have are not sexed yet, so should be easy.. unless the female for some reason refuses to accept it. Happens more frequently with maroons, with percs and occellaris the females are not as mean.
