Hi Jimmy,
I purchased the skimmer second hand from Mike (Mshur).
I've had it for about a year and never had any problems with it.

Pics are updated in 1st Post

Would you ship the minis? How old are they? 06492

They are more of a way for automation. Both are used to maintain calcium and alkalinity. Which is better? It is more of a user's preference.
A "kalkreactor" needs kalkwasser to supply ca and alk needs in the form of limewater.
A calcium reactor utilizes CO2 to dissolve CaCO3 based media as its way to supply the ca and alk demands.
Bring this up in the General Discussions forum, I'm sure you can get more info there.

i am interesting in some of your equipment, please call me ny name is pak #917-939-9971 thankyou

Hi Chris,

Did the BK setup with the 40 breeder shoot micro-bubbles back into your display? Guessing that you utilized a submersible return since I can't see any bulkhead holes. Last question, no room for a micron sock in the BK sump compartment, correct?

Thanks,
Warren

Hey Warren,

The BK is sold.
I didn't have any microbubbles to begin with.
I originally had no baffles in the sump and never was there an issue with microbubbles.
There is definetly room for a filter sock.

I really do love this skimmer, but now its time to try out some cone versions :)
