It is with a heavy heart that I must sell the zebra moray that has been a member of our family for 11 years.
The eel was purchased at about 18" in length in 2011.
The eel readily takes thawed, raw shrimp (its favorite) scallops or silversides off tongs (do not use your hands). It will eat about 7 medium sized shrimp every 7-10 days. It will also take algae off an algae clip which is weird because it's a moray eel but whatever.
The eel has never harmed snails or sessile invertebrates, and has been housed with small fish without any problems.
The eel does not jump or escape, but all eels can.
The eel is about 3-4 feet in length now. I can't get an accurate measurement.
I'm asking $250. Pickup is in Scarsdale, NY. Please be an experienced fish/reef keeper.
