Tank has been professionally drilled with a 1" bulkhead and plumbed with a durso.

A lot of work went into making this setup one of the best 46 bows you'll find. The sump is the most intricate one that will fit into the stand. The canopy is made from a combo of oak and plywood. I wanted to have two HQI bulbs with t5 supplemts. A closed canopy with retros woldnt have space for the HQI's and the stock canopy by Oceanic is very cheaply made, so I went with a hanging unit that fits perfectly on top of the canopy to seal it off. This also helps reduce the heat. The canopy is sealed with boat primer and sprayed with a semigloss black.

My one main regrest was never having the tank drilled from the start. The hangon overflow I originally used almost flooded on multiple occasions. I refuse to sell a tank to anyone that will flood their basement so I had the tank professionally drilled and threw out the overflow. It's an even better tank now than when I had it setup.

This is a faily plug and play application. Jusy add a return pump and a slip screen ($2 at marine depot) and you're all set.
