Oh my god! I think same guy posted in Reef2reef for $2000. What’s the world coming into? That’s like more than my rent.

Thanks guys. I totally get people comments (positive or negative) but I see my self as a person that is passionate about this hobby and love the challenge of growing out high-end corals. I bought 1 head of this HG Torch about 3 years ago for $1,900. My wife went with me to pick it up and thought I was crazy. Lets just say, that I made a trip to the Zales store later that week :)

That 1 head turned into 13 heads and I have enjoyed every minute of this torch! You can get HG's that come from the wild for $800 or $900 but they will look nothing like a 24K HG that's been propagated for years in our tanks, our lighting and our salt and parameters. The color will not pop like this one and most of them have short tentacles so you don't see that amazing wave that the HG has in my tank. Also, the survival rate of those wild torches is not always the best. I say all of this to explain that you really do get what you pay for in this instance.
