This system has been running in one way shape or form for over 3 years. It started in a 20g long, then moved into a 58g oceanic cube, then onto its current home, the 92 corner.
I’ve sort of upgraded to a 95 wave with an AGA model 4, Bermuda skimmer and MH/VHO lighting. This system (92) has supported very healthy fish (1-Emerald Wrasse, 1 Lunare Wrasse, 1 Banana Wrasse, Bird Wrasse, Dragon Wrasse, Harlequin Tusk, Tomato Clown, Squirrel Fish, SnowFlake Eel, Long Nose Hawk, Flame Hawk, Spotted Hawk, Yellow Tank, Clown Tang) anemone’s, lots of crabs, snails, etc., some easy corals (Chili, Elephant ear, Mushrooms, Polyps, etc.) The only deaths that have occurred in this system were due to aggression, Carpet Surfing or improper acclimation. System has always been maintained with RO/DI water changes and Top-Offs. The refugium has plenty of growth with Chaeto, Mangrove, pods, micro-stars, snails and Bristle worms which feed the tank pretty well. I wanted to give the livestock more swimming room and get the tank out of the corner so I am switching them over to the new system.
