Colt Coral and Clove Coral F/S or F/T

For sale or trade in Staten Island (pick up only). Have three large heads of Colt Coral, pink in color. Also A large amount of cloves =. U can remove and take as much as u want. (This stuff grows like nuts in my tank)
Just name a price u think is fair, although I would rather swap for something if possible.

That doesn't look much like xenia..more like anthelia or clove polyps.

They do look like xenia to me but just taht there seem to have a lot of flow making it hard to see the pumping action.

EDIT: I am taking back what I just said because the pic shows that it branch at base0-so I am not sure what this is now. Have to look at it in real person or a better pic can show more readily what it is.

MORE EDIT: CLove it is because owner has reported that the polyps will retract into the inards of the coral making it look like a stomp.

Wingo, you should know that not all Xenia pulsate. :smash:

I know this part-I have one kind that does not pulsate(or I should say only once a while).

But the fingers in the pic are too featherly that and short that it does not look like the anthelia(s) I have seen. Lets compare your linked pic, the fingers are longer and they does not look like feather. The fingers looks like both Clove and Xenia but the body does not look like Clove(too skinny).

Hmm, let me look again "branch at base". True, Xenia should not branch at base.

Doung, so what is it. BTW does the polyps ever retract into the body and make the body into a knob look?

Wingo: i always thought it was xenia but now im not so sure. but yes...they do retract into the stank at night, making it look like a stump. And I certainly would be willing to trade it with u. just lemme know when is good.

Iggy: Im in richmondtown, on lighthouse hill. PM me and I can give u all the info.

Markasm: The Colt is 25 bucks. Its large in size, greater than 5 inches and pink in color. PM me if interested.

ARRH, it's CLOVE. Nano22 is right.

Since it's not Xenia, I will hold to it when you have other goodies:sgrin: . However, I can still give you some Anthelia for free when we meet up. Take note that the Clove may fight with Anthelia(mine do) though while Xenia and Anthelia stay happily together in my tank.

So change the label of the coral to CLOVE.
