I am selling my SPS-ready 29g biocube that I have meticulously built over the last 4 or so years. I have grown out SPS from finger-tip size to spanning the entire length of the tank. I struggled with bubble algae, and ultimately lost all of my corals after moving apartments and removing the sand bed in the process. The nice thing is, this thing stays nice and cool with the LEDs, and keeps the sleek, stock, spouse-approved look. Located in Astoria, NY

I decided to cut my losses and upgrade my tank as I?ve always wanted to now that we?ve moved into a space that will fit it. This tank will support a heavy stocking as well as high-end stocking. This is the perfect setup for the NYC space-limited-but-still-want-to-succeed-in-colorful-SPS crowd. I had dosed vodka with this tank for a long time, run prodibo, dosed aminos, Zeovit additives, Aqua Forest, and a marinepure block custom cut to size too. The flow is upgraded to a Maxijet and spray bar instead of the stock outlet. I?d recommend adding powerheads too. This tank has seen it all, and really produced fantastic results. The stock lights were crap and are not included.

29g Biocube with stand and the following upgrades:

Reefkeeper Lite ? 2 4-plug power bars, sensor module (PH control and 2 types of temperature probes), dimming module, PC connection module, and networking module (have never used the networking module, and only used PC connection once during original setup).

DIY RapidLED Retrofit LED lighting (with mix of Cool White, Neutral White, Warm White, Red, Royal Blue, Lime, UV, and UV-B) for a true full-spectrum experience. I built out this spectrum combination from recommendations from Jedimasterben on RC and NR, and this was pumping out the same coloration that people are now amazed about (myself included) in the Radion Pro Gen 4s. The meanwell drivers are dimmable (0-10v) and are conveniently mounted to the roof of the shelf in the cabinet so they?re out of the way. This works great with the Reefkeeper for a nice dimmed sunrise/daylight/sunset profile. The LEDs are arranged into a blue-only sunrise/sunset, and a white+colors+UV daylight spectrum, so the two channels are independently controllable and tweakable to get the best blend of white or blue. It?s also ALL CUSTOM, so if you want to swap out LEDs, or if one burns out here or there, they?re all easily swappable and PLUG-AND-PLAY, NO SOLDERING AT ALL. I?ll also include extra LEDs, so spares of Cool White and I believe some of the other white, as well as spare UVs (since they are the most common to burn out), and some other Green, Cyan, and other fun colors to try out to find the perfect spectrum you?re looking for. I also have spare/quieter fans for the hood that I never got around to installing but will include.

Aquamaxx WS-1 in-sump skimmer: a BEAST of a nano skimmer. I?ll also include an Aquaticlife 115 if I can find it, also a good skimmer. I owned a Tunze 9001 at one point, and it was a joke compared to both of these. The Aquamaxx will strip the water clean and pull out sludge like a real big-boy skimmer, but in a tiny footprint and is reasonably quiet.

Two BRS 1.1mL/minute dosers mounted in the bottom of the cabinet. They work great with the Reefkeeper for automated 2 part dosing.
I?ll also include a flipper nano magnet cleaner, a Korallia nano powerhead, and the mentioned marinepure block that fits in the back (does not fit with the skimmer, one or the other).

Original prices:
29g Biocube LED (with crap lights you?d replace anyway) $339.99
29g biocube stand $169.99
Reefkeeper lite plus $289.99 + ALC dimmer $79.99 + Net Module $119.99 + USB PC connection
RapidLED Retrofit kit $200 plus +$100 in additional LEDs
Aquamaxx WS-1 $159.99 and Aquaticlife 115 $48.99
BRS Dosers 2x $69.99 each
That?s just the big stuff. This will include small stuff as well. Over $1700 in big stuff.
I?m asking $600 Just add water, rock, and SPS/Clams

2 x Ecotech MP10wQD ? 3 years old or so. I have the original boxes, shims, accessory packs, and even coral magazine subscription papers. Bought from Manhattan Aquariums. Originally $285.00, asking $150.00 each. SOLD

27 gallon container (probably 50lbs) of dry, cleaned, acid-bathed, and neutralized dry rock. I bought a big lot from someone locally, washed and cleaned all of it, not knowing how much I would actually need, and ended up not using about 1/3 of it, so this is the last 1/3 of it. I spent a number of nights and lots of water scrubbing, washing, hosing, scrubbing again, and rinsing. The rock is pearly white, kept in a covered container dry. I was really impressed with the rock shapes, as it is a LOT of flat surfaces (many rocks cut to make shelves), some branching ?Tonga? rock, and overall really really nice rock. I wish I could use more of it, but I?m going for as little rock as I can in my tank. Asking $75.

Take all of it, ready to go, for $650. I?ll throw in ESV 2 part, a heater, and other odds and ends to get you ready to go (excluding the sold MP10s).

I'll part out.... I will still consider trades for high end SPS, Radion Gen4 Pro (15 or 30), acrylic ATO reservoir, or Cornelius kegs and/or beer homebrew equipment (gotta always have another project/hobby in the works!)

29g Biocube $339.99
29g biocube stand $169.99
RapidLED Retrofit kit $200 plus + ~$100 in additional LEDs
Whole tank setup (includes Maxijet return pump) for $300

Aquamaxx WS-1 $159.99 - $100

Aquaticlife 115 $48.99 - $20

Reefkeeper lite plus $289.99 + ALC dimmer $79.99 (for control of AI lights or any 0-10v lighting) + Net Module $119.99 + USB PC connection - $200

Still have the ~50lb (probably more) liverock in home depot tubs in the garage. Acid washed and neutralized, no phosphates, no nitrates, perfectly clean white rock ready to go into a tank. I used the other 1/2 of the rock for my current tank and my sand bed grew more algae than the rocks did during the cycle. $50

I was able to fit it comfortably in the middle (2nd) chamber. I did keep a small piece of marinepure under it to lift it up slightly, and it was tall enough that it required the rear door to stay open. That also helped keep the tank cooler though, so I didn't mind.
