This is a great skimmer for those small-footprint areas. This worked great for my 55 gallon display, and fit easily in my (tiny!) 10-gallon sump.

The unit is really quite small! Footprint is only 5.9" by 3.2". It's 14" tall (without collection cup, which adds another 3"-6"). It's also very quiet.
