Hello all, recently got this fish from a local breaking down his tank. After being in my tank for a little under a week, he has gained his confidence and is not playing nice with the the rest of his tank mates so he needs to go. The tang is about 5" long. Has some damage to its dorsal fin. I will be selling the fish to include a 5 gallon home depot bucket and lid which is what you are paying for. The fish itself is free as that is what I received the fish for.

If you have a new unused bucket ill take that as a trade. I will also be meeting the new owner of this fish at the Petco at 2752 Veterans Rd W, Staten Island, NY 10309 which is right next to a home depot, so you're welcome to go in and purchase a bucket there to trade me as well.

I'd love to have that fish Gerard but I don't think my Kole tang and 2 yellow tangs would get along with it. Nice fish though.

Yes, it is a very nice fish. I would have loved to keep him if he behaved a little better. I have the fish trap in the tank since this afternoon so hopefully I find him a good home once I have hit captured. Otherwise I may end up needing to take him over to PETCO and they'll make a killing on him unfortunately.

My tank already has a purple and a sailfin. I wish I had a trio of purples, im sure another member will scoop him up. Do you think he could work in my set up or will they most likely fight? It's only a 120 gallon though.

Edit: I don't want to take any chances and disturb the harmony of the tank

I definitely wouldnt add another purple in a tank with an already established purple tang. It would cause major headaches for you, and likely result in a dead fish.
