Greetings,

I've lived in the area for almost 7 years now, since 2010, but haven't had much time for participating in the reef club. I was very active in the Boston Reefers Society from 2002 to 2010, and have been in the hobby for about 17 years. So please forgive me if this For Sale Thread sounds like it comes from some random person. I have 375gal Total, plus another 55gal self-contained quarantine system, but no display tank

... yet.

All items are For Pickup in Putnam Valley, NY. I will ship USPS, but buyer must pay shipping. A flat rate box is $13.60 to $18.85 depending on the size of the item.

Item 1: Aquacontroller III with new Temperature Probe and DC 8 module ~ $60 (will ship!)
attachment.php

Please note, two DC 8's are shown. I'm not entirely certain one is working well. If you can fix it, great. If not, throw it away, and the other DC 8 functions properly. DC 8's have a small amount of rust on the housing around the screws. The temperature probe is brand new! You can add a pH and ORP probe, and any modern probe with the standard connection should work just fine. Power adapter and communication cables included. Great way to cheaply get control of your tank!

Item 2: Tunze Turbelle Stream 6105 + Tunze 7096 Multicontroller ~ $120 (will ship!)
attachment.php

The Tunze Turbelle Stream 6105 is missing the magnetic bracket holder (the plastic deteriorated over time). Tunze stream and controller work just fine and produces a great amount of flow!

Item 3: Tunze Water Level Controller 5017 + Pump + Kalkwasser Reactor ~ $50 (will ship!)
attachment.php

Highly reliable and a very safe way to do topoff and avoid spills. I've used these for years until I switched to the Apex controller, and I always had great success. The overflow protection is a plus. An extra, brand new pump is included. Also included (but not shown) is an acrylic tube with holes very neatly drilled in it to hold the probe in the sump and minimize water agitation.

Item 4: Delta Skimmer ~ $15 (pickup only)
attachment.php

I have no idea what model Delta it is. It doesn't run on coal. I swear. But it's a pretty large skimmer for $15. And it's very clean. I have modified it to include a gate valve on the discharge for throttling, and to restrain the pump with rigid PVC. Skims very well. I added cable wrapping to keep everything neat.

Item 5: 48" Strip Light with bulb ~ $10 (pickup only)
attachment.php

Strip light does show the effects of salt on the metal reflector, but works just fine.

Item 6: Glass-cages Acrylic 5.5gal with holes drilled for float switch and one half-inch dia. bulkhead with union ~ $5 (pickup only)
attachment.php

Tank is wrapped in shrinkwrap to keep it clean when not in use. Great for topoff or an under tank refugium. This was used just to keep made up RO/DI water. No copper medication ever used. Completely clean.

Item 7: Glass-cages Acrylic half 10gal with one half inch nominal bulkheads for flow in and two half inch nominal bulkheads for flow out ~ $5 (pickup only)
attachment.php

Tank is wrapped in shrinkwrap to keep it clean when not in use. Great for topoff or an under tank refugium. This was used for an in-stand refugium. No copper medication ever used. Completely clean.

Item 8: Glass-cages Acrylic 20H gal with one half inch nominal bulkheads for flow in and two half inch nominal bulkheads for flow out. Manufacturer center brace. ~ $5 (pickup only)
attachment.php

Tank is wrapped in shrinkwrap to keep it clean when not in use. Great for topoff or an under tank refugium. This was used for a larger in-stand refugium. No copper medication ever used. Completely clean.

Item 9: Aqueon Glass 20L with strip light, glass cover, plastic strip ~ $10 (pickup only)
attachment.php

Tank is wrapped in shrinkwrap to keep it clean when not in use. No copper medication ever used. Completely clean.

Thanks for looking!

That appears to be either a Deltec AP 600 or a Das-EX1. Those are AWESOME skimmers either way. Even if they don't run on coal. I owned both and they were among the best skimmers I've ever had, I've had a lot of skimmers. I found better results restricting the feed water rather than using a gate. It was Deltec's (D&Gs) recommendation to never ever restrict the outlet but instead to control the height via feed water and air.

Gravity feeding these makes them an absolute beast!

Thank you very much for the endorsement. I had picked it up as a spare years ago, and never really used it.
