Tank Break Down Phase One

The tank was a 65gal that I had setup in Jan 2015 that I slowly collected parts for... MY Job became intense so I took the tank down in November and now have some time to post the equipment. :letitallo


Santa Monica Filtration HOG .5 Algae Scrubber - $65

Pick up in Midtown Manhattan during the week (9am-12pm)
Pick up in Brooklyn on weekdays (after 730pm) and weekend all day

yes it certainly works, I didnt follow his instructions tho ... they recommend the unit based on the amount of food you feed, not size of the tank which I ignored.

in my case this is for a 1/2 a cube daily, if I followed the recommendation then my algae would only grow within the unit, since I didn't I couldn't control algae 100% but it works.
