For simplicity and to help keep things organized on this forum, i would suggest that once a transaction has been completed that the originator of the post go back and delete it (by going to the first post, clicking edit, then checking off "delete post") at least on the first page. This should help keep what is still available up and save a lot of the "is this still available" posts.
I have started by deleting all my topics that have already been sold, bought, or traded.
