Ive been in this hobby for a long time ? the key to successful set up is to properly set it up from the get go. That means quality equipment, well-thought plumbing and a quite set-up! So all you do is feed your fish, sit back and watch corals grow. Here is ALL you need just to do that.
Tank: RR. 90 gallon glass tank. Black tint in the back. Small scratches, not visible when filled.
Stand and Canopy: Painted light brown just last summer. Still fresh, needs nothing. Stand can fit 120G tank if needed.
Light: Maxspect 43.5 Inch Razor 15,000K LED Light. Year old. Zero heat, grows anything you want.
Powerheads: Ecotech 40W with two battery back-ups. Two Jebao 2015 RW-8.(new versions, flow is fully adjustable).
Sump: Custom?s King Acrylic Sump. Three compartments. I ran fuge, skimmer & return.
Return: Eheim 1262. Ultra quite.
Skimmer: SKIMZ SK 181 Kone E-Series In-Sump Protein Skimmer. Got it new in 2013. Kept my tank water changeless for many weeks at the time.
Reactors: Two little fish reactors plumbed into return line. Flow adjustable on both. I ran carbon and phosphate.
ATO: JBJ Auto top off with two sensors.
Plumbing: PVC all around with Herbie ultra quite overflow. If you don?t know about herbie read about it, even if you don?t buy my tank ? just go read it. It?ll be worth your time. The tank is dead silent with this set up. Im very happy I went with it during initial stages.
RO/DI: Filter guys 5 stage RO/DI unit
