2 APC UPS Backups

I have 2 APC UPS Battery Backups, one 500 and one 700. The batteries in both are dead, but cost less than $25 with shipping on ebay. Since the batteries are dead, I'm not asking much for them, maybe $30 (700) and $20 (500) or some cool frags or equipment.

Let me know what you have and we can work it out.

(Mods please feel free to move this as you see fit, it's not technically fish equipment, but can back up a tank, so I put it here.)

Awesome piece of equipment!! There are several people on this board that use it too keep their stream running during a power outage. It will keep the pumps running for several hours.

They sell the batteries on ebay and take about a minute to replace. A new one costs alot so anyone who wants a good backup should jump all over this.

I don't have a pic, but if you google it you should find it. The 700 unit is black, appx 5" x 5" x 14" The 500 is slightly smaller.

Also, we can take the battery out here if you want so that you don't have to carry a heavy dead battery.

The big one is rated at 450 Watts and is supposed to run over 20 minutes with a half load, so figure out the wattage of the device you want on it and you can determine the amount of time it should run.

Yup... when and where is good for you. I'm in Park Slope, so the LES would be great, but I'm around a lot.
