I've come to the decision to break down this tank. Not getting out but downsizing to a nano. I know nanos can be trickier but the smaller water changes and simplifying things a bit will make it easier for me so hopefully that will keep me in for a little while longer.
So the following is up for sale:
Tank is still running so if anyone wants to take a look pm me. You need to have 100% positive feedback.
Equipment
Tank only $400 with free items (stand and rock).
(1) Rimless tank starfire front made by our one and only Reefoman (Mark) (free marine land stand in excellent shape included). The marineland stand was painted white and reinforced with a piece of birch ply in the center. I make no representations as to it's structural integrity but it should be fine with the tank. I was going to use it but decided to go with a bigger stand in case I upgraded.
Tank dimensions are 24 x 24 x 20 high with an external overflow box and built like a brick house. This tank is heavy. Acrylic back wall with cut out for oeverflow. This is an amazing tank but as mentioned above I've just got too much going on. The tank may have one or two very light surface scratches on the front pane but you can't tell by looking at it. Comes with bulkheads loc line and return and drain plumbing. Price is $400 firm. Comes with free live rock and stand. Live rock has bubble algae on it but if you can scrape off the bubble algae and let it sit in a container with saltwater and re use or just dry it out and give it an acid bath. Also included are a mesh top and the starboard. I'm keeping the stand that is pictured. Pic of the marineland stand to be posted.
Powerheads
(2) 2 tunze 6095's $225 each or $400 for the pair.
Controller for Powerheads
(3) Tunze 7096 $100 alone or $80 with #(2)
Skimmer
(4) Vertex Omega 130 skimmer $200 firm. It has been in operation for about six months and was purchased new from BRS.
Return Pump
(5) Sicce Return Pump 3.0 $65
Lights
(6) Radion G2 with Hanging Kit and original box manufactured in Nov 2012 and put into service in February/March 2013 never above 50% intensity $400
Sump
(7)Custom King Sump 21 x 21x 16 high (not baffled for a refugium) will fit inside the marine land stand $150 firm.
I also have some live stock. These are the items I have for now:
(1) Pair of lyretail (I think) anthias $20 each or $30 for the pair
(2) Approximately 14" tall gorgonian $30
