Interested, is this fixture black or silver, how old are bulbs?

Fixture is black. Bulbs... let me find out. I took this over from a friend. So let me see if he ever replaced the bulbs. I know he's had the fixture for about a year.

Fixture and bulbs are about a year old... But the bulbs may still have some use out of them. The previous owner only turned the lights on for only 4-5 hours a day...
