Ok so I bought a tremendous amount of parts from rapid led thinking it would be easy to put the diy together with the help of a few cats on mr... anyway thats not the way it turned out so I bought acans and my loss will be someones gain. I have the following
$600 firm
3. 6"x20" predrilled anodized heat sink
3. hanging kits
3. fan kits
96 cree 3w leds (half cool white/ half royal blue)
12 true ultra violet led
2 hlg 185-42b drivers
1 eln driver (for 12 uv)
100 or so optix (40 or 80)
ALL parts have been assembled and i have had everything working. The truth of the matter is there is a bad ground somewhere in the soldering. I believe that you would have to take all the solder apart and redo but if u have a better idea so be it. I believe when it was said and done there is close to 1100 in parts and i spent more time and extra assembly money than i care to admit. anything less than $600 and i will use them for ornaments on my front lawn. I also have a couple spare leds/thermo grease
