I'm getting out of the hobby as I've had to travel for work this past year and don't have enough time to properly care for my tank. My system went from beautiful to Aptasia in 6 months.
There are two clownfish, an anemone, a lemon goby and a porcelain crab in the tank all of which need a new home. Preference will be given to a buyer who will take them on and take great care of them. There also is a nice full grown soft coral in there which you could cut off the Aptasia infested live rock and quarantine.
Ever since I got the tank I've been buying tons of goodies which I'm selling separately (list below). If you buy the tank there are tons of accessories which you can grab if you want.
Here are the main items which I'm selling separately:
- Red Sea Max 130 (30 gal) Reef Tank. Condition: glass not scratched, the previous owner carved an opening in the side of the hood, presumably to allow access for an external canister filter, moonlights and timer need replacement (new $899, my price $450, incl. lifestock and coral)
- EcoTech Marine Vortech MP-10W w/ controller (new $285, my price $220)
- Aqua FX 4 Stage 100gpd RODI Filter for tap water (new $159, my price $100)
- Aquaripure in-line Nitrate filter (new $239, my price $150) - has been dormant for a while, needs new standard pump
- Eheim Pro 3 canister filter - this one's old and from the previous owner. Never used it, hoses are taped at the bottom, easy fix (new $200, my price $100)
If you buy the tank there are tons of things that you can take off my hands for FREE, everything must go including:
- Another small glass tank for nursery etc. 1 gal
- Pumps
- Chemicals
- Aquarium Pharmaceuticals water test (Nitrate, Nitrite, PH, dkH, Calcium etc.)
