Purely for research. Not confrontational at at. But I have two questions for you guys. And honestly with all due respect is all for research. I too am impressed with the software situation however our concern in that in order to achieve a proven spectrum a beginner or even a pro will wind up going through a multitude of color combinations which is essentially spectrum shifts that are very bad for coral. Sort of letting a T5 or a Halide get old. That spectrum shift starts to develop all sorts of issues. Second question is if a six foot tank like Cono's was covered by three units thats 72/3= 24 inches so based on the sandbed and tank depth could you tell me the PAR readings and at what spectrum you are/were running? Of course i understand that there is a multitude of choices but what was the spectrum you finally settled on before you decided they were not worth keeping? At what dominant wavelenths were the peaks that you finally decided to go another route? Please don't take it the wrong way I am just curious as we are debating to implement such software and allowing the end user to decide based on asthetics. But knowing the average aquarist does not need to invest in a spectralradiometer we kind of feel this practice, basically months of guessing and shifts, can be very detrimental to a tank due to spectal changes. Or do we continue to offer a wavelength that has been tested and is comparative to the set wavelengths known to have worked for years with the new lights you plan on going with? Again please completely non confrontational just inquisitive to the publics opinions. We do not want to be like others all we want is basicallly for frags to become colonies. Thats all. And Please do not assume that the product you see in the LFS is set up to grow the corals they are there and set up mainly for the purpose to sell the coral not grow them. For a shop to do that there is huge losses and a very hight cost. That is why they are almost always predominantly blue. Please PM me with your thoughts as like i said it is not confrontational nor do we wish to knowingly raise any flags but we are just interesting to discuss the public opinion. You seem to be in our area so please feel free to discuss over coffee or a beer once. I would love to hear your take on it.(Highly interested) Good luck with sale and especially the tank .

Not to be confrontational, and I think you guys DO have a good product, and I've heard excellent stories of customer service about your company, but this post is HIGHLY inappropriate in someone's Radion for sale thread.

I'm only selling the light, not the tank. And the only reason i am selling the lights is because i have a deep tank 30" and it's not fully cover as everyone knows that it's only 24X24 coverage, i thought i would be happy with it, guess not. The light is phnominal, grows coral nicely, polyp extensions are CRAZY which is probably good, which i have never seen in 10 years while in the hobby. Owners of the lights can speak for it.

I'm sure you have a good light there, i have heard good things as well. PM me if you have any questions.
