I have a seemingly angry clown fish that needs friends. His partner passed a while back and he seems sad. Looking to trade for mushroom corals OR Ill give him away free to someone with a large tank and another lonely clownfish.

Im in Bed Stuy Brooklyn.

Thanks! I'd just get another, but I'm turning my tank back into a seahorse tank. And while I had kept this guy with three seahorses without a problem before, I would not want to introduce a new group at this point while he seems so angry/sad. Even if he didn't bother them or steal their food, I'm sure he'd be sending out F&%*U vibes to all the new calm peaceful inhabitants. I would keep him despite ALL of this, and the new plans, but the bottom line is he's just not happy, and quite frankly he hates me. Anytime I put my hand or the turkey baster in the tank he bites me. Hard. A lot. He/she eats flakes/frozen foods (although not a huge eater). Also he doesn't like to eat mushrooms (which is good, because I had a lot). He also does not seem to eat any copepods or amphipods, because my tank is overrun with them :)

Also I just noticed 4 new baby starfish that are on the glass, they are super small and I dont know where they could possibly have come from. Things just seem to grow (and im not even really taking care of the tank). Ill post a new thread about this crab I had found last year in my tank. He just appeared out of nowhere. He was half the size of my pinky nail when I first noticed him. Within a few months he was bigger than my hand!

So back to the Clown. He/she is about 1.5 - 2''. And is either a Percula or a Ocellaris. He's a misbar. The middle white stripe does not extend all the way down his side.

I don't know what happened to his friend, just disappeared one day. Maybe the cat?
