Hey there,
Need to make more space in my fuge and growing caulerpa, chaeto, and both red and black mangroves PLUS storing extra LR is taking up too much room.

I'm selling off 15 of red the mangroves and 8 or fewer of the black mangroves I have.

All red have roots but no leaves (soon they will, I can see it beginning).
All black have both roots and leaves. I started them from the small pods.

You can buy a few or the whole thing.

only $2 each red, $2 black

Details:
1) Pick up only...
2) I live in zip 11238, next to Pratt University where the SWAP was held
3) No low balling on such low priced mangroves, seriously, I've seen people selling these for $8 each. I just want to share and make room. I am not desperate.
4) I am primarily available after 6:30pm on weekdays and flexible weekends though I prefer earlier in the day/pre noon.

are you sure that they're black mangroves, from my understanding black mangroves grow on shore near the water but need solid ground to grow while red can grow in nearly anything and dont need any solid ground

i could be wrong but its just what ive read

Hey Bruno,
I bought them as black mangroves.
They looked like this when I got them (this is a pic I found on google):

I just threw the pods in my sump and the grew hairy stems then roots, and now two sets of leaves (like my pic)
The main set are already extruding salt and everything.
None of them are touching substrate.

Lol. Definitely bring some back next time!

They do take up more space than the reds though.

I like both but I wanted my sump/fuge area to be also aesthetically pleasing and there is just toooooo much growth.

I'm almost thinking of growing chaeto next to my skimmer!

Silky, you should PM me to coordinate.

Let me but my availability in the first post so I can be more specific about what part of BK and what time I'm home.

not too worried about space, in my upgrade i will have a 90 gallon sump/fuge for my 150 and then ill probably plumb in another fuge of 30+ gallons

still have some reds left
maybe 1 or 2 black left.
However, those are all pending actual payment/paypal/pick up.

Let me know as I can put you in line if someone backs out.

Either way, I still have at least 5 reds left.

Did I take something you wanted recently? I might be able to frag it or something..
