Going out of business....so to speak?..So I?ve read so many of these posts and never thought I?d be on the opposite end but, after over 6 years in the hobby I?m getting out. There?s directions I?d like to go and unfortunately, I don?t have the space for that now and I?m ready to part with my 10 gallon nano tank.
So what I have for sale is the following:
Equipment:
A Hang on Back refuge, it holds ~ 1 ? 1.5 gallons, with a small lighting house for a 10W light. Asking $70 for refuge, a good amount of Cheato and the light.
I have about 12 ? 15lbs of live rock that has been in my tank for over 6 years. The majority of the Rocks have Red Mushrooms so they will be sold as a combo. See below for pics and details of the live rock and coral for sale:
Acan Brain Coral ? roughly 4 ? 5? long by ~ 4? wide. My tank is starting to get over crowded so on the outer rim there is some degradation which I believe will recuperate itself provided with the right conditions and space.
Mostly purplish in color with orange centers?very nice piece - $50.
Brain Coral - Green ~ 3? long for $60.
Green Frogspawn , Branching - $80 This is a nice piece with ~ 19 heads. I have this placed right next to my mushrooms, as you can see form the pics, for a number of years and they coexist fine even though it?s titled as an aggressive coral.
The way I would like to go about with this sale is to sell the corals listed above first before I start to deconstruct my live rock encrusted with red mushrooms. Once the above items are sold I will then be able to take better shots of the rock work and what remains without disrupting the environment. The same of course will hold true with the equipment sale, this will have to go last for strategic reasons.
Please contact me with any questions that you may have.
The sale is for pickup only. I?m located in Astoria only a few stops from city.
Thanks
Mike
Edit: So I tried to post some pictures without any success. I have a link to a flicker account that I just created, I hope this link works. Please let me know if you have any issues viewing the pictures or if you would like me to send you some pictures directly.
