Going out of business....so to speak?..So I?ve read so many of these posts and never thought I?d be on the opposite end but, after over 6 years in the hobby I?m getting out. There?s directions I?d like to go and unfortunately, I don?t have the space for that now and I?m ready to part with my 10 gallon nano tank.

So what I have for sale is the following:

Equipment:

A Hang on Back refuge, it holds ~ 1 ? 1.5 gallons, with a small lighting house for a 10W light. Asking $70 for refuge, a good amount of Cheato and the light.

I have about 12 ? 15lbs of live rock that has been in my tank for over 6 years. The majority of the Rocks have Red Mushrooms so they will be sold as a combo. See below for pics and details of the live rock and coral for sale:

Acan Brain Coral ? roughly 4 ? 5? long by ~ 4? wide. My tank is starting to get over crowded so on the outer rim there is some degradation which I believe will recuperate itself provided with the right conditions and space.
Mostly purplish in color with orange centers?very nice piece - $50.

Brain Coral - Green ~ 3? long for $60.

Green Frogspawn , Branching - $80 This is a nice piece with ~ 19 heads. I have this placed right next to my mushrooms, as you can see form the pics, for a number of years and they coexist fine even though it?s titled as an aggressive coral.

The way I would like to go about with this sale is to sell the corals listed above first before I start to deconstruct my live rock encrusted with red mushrooms. Once the above items are sold I will then be able to take better shots of the rock work and what remains without disrupting the environment. The same of course will hold true with the equipment sale, this will have to go last for strategic reasons.

Please contact me with any questions that you may have.

The sale is for pickup only. I?m located in Astoria only a few stops from city.

Thanks

Mike

Edit: So I tried to post some pictures without any success. I have a link to a flicker account that I just created, I hope this link works. Please let me know if you have any issues viewing the pictures or if you would like me to send you some pictures directly.

Going out of business?.

So to speak?..
Round II?.So I placed a post over the weekend which was removed due to having a URL in my post and having less than 5 PM?hopefully I don?t run into the same issues with this one.

So I?ve read so many of these posts and never thought I?d be on the opposite end but, after over 6 years in the hobby I?m getting out. There?s directions I?d like to go and unfortunately, I don?t have the space for that now and I?m ready to part with my 10 gallon nano tank.

Acan Brain Coral ? roughly 4 ? 5? long by ~ 4? wide. Mostly purplish in color with orange centers?very nice piece - $50. Note, there is some tissue degradation, again, there is some areas along the outer brim whereby a mushroom is taking over its space and had resulted in some tissue lose. I believe in the right conditions it will rejuvenate itself.

Brain Coral - Green ~ 3? long for $60.

Frogspans - $70 This is a nice piece with ~ 16 heads. I have this placed right next to my mushrooms, as you can see form the pics, for a number of years and they coexist fine even though it?s titled as an aggressive coral. Please note, that due to over crowding some of the heads that are not getting direct light have died as a result. The heads that are in the direct light are fairing very well.

They way I?m going to approach this sale is by selling the above corals first followed by the live rock encrusted with red mushrooms for strategic reasons; followed by the equipment.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to see any additional pictures.

Thanks,

Mike

Tank Sale

So I placed a post recently which was removed due to having a URL in my post and having less than 5 PMs?hopefully I don?t run into the same issues with this one. You can see a tank shot by navigating to my 'Member's Albums' and searching for a pic titled 'Tank Shot 7/10/11.' Please email me if you're interested in a particular picture.

After reading many of these posts and never thought I?d be on the opposite end but, after over 6+ years in the hobby I?m getting out.

Asking $65 for refuge, a good amount of Cheato and the light.

Livestock:

I have about 12 ? 15lbs of live rock that has been in my tank for over 6 years. The majority of the Rocks have Red Mushrooms so they will be sold as a combo. The way I?m going to approach this sale is by selling the coral first followed by the live rock encrusted with red mushrooms for strategic reasons, and finally followed by the equipment.

Acan Brain Coral ? roughly 4 ? 5? long by ~ 4? wide. Mostly purplish in color with orange centers?very nice piece - $40. Note, there is some tissue degradation, again, there is some areas along the outer brim whereby a mushroom is taking over its space and had resulted in some tissue lose. I believe in the right conditions it will rejuvenate itself.

Brain Coral - Green ~ 3? long for $60.

Frogspan - $70 - Pending Sale: This is a nice piece with ~ 13 heads. I have this placed right next to my mushrooms, as you can see form the pics, for a number of years and they coexist fine even though it?s titled as an aggressive coral. Please note, that due to over crowding some of the heads that are not getting direct light have died as a result. The heads that are in the direct light are fairing very well.

Non of your threads have been deleted. They have been merged. Yet again, threads merged. One thread is sufficient for a tank sale and easier to manage for you and for us.

You can see all of your started threads is you click on your profile, then click on STATISTICS, then click on ALL THREADS STARTED.
