Discovery has a special on octopus. They said they had the largest ratio of food intake to growth than any other animal. I wonder if cuttlefish have a similar characteristic.

octopus have an 80% assimilation rate and I think humans have maybe 8% if I'm correct. WHich means 80% of what they consume is converted into body mass.
