Is there anyone in NYC with these lights running on their tank? I would really love to see them in action. Also, I wonder what the cost savings is in electric usage? I currently run 3- 400W MH bulbs over my 180. (60 inches x 24 inches surface area)

I dont have the money to spend on new lighting right now, but if this will cut my electric bill considerably I may work hard to find a way... (Of course I want to see what they look like!)

Alfred,
Based on your volume and surface dimensions, is your tank 29" tall? I'm not sure if you will get sufficient lighting all the way down to the bottom of your tank. If it wasn't for the height, I would say the savings would be the greatest for users such as yourself who are using 400w MH lighting. It's 1200w vs. 360w times x-amount of hours x 30 days.

Hi Ychan,

The Master and Slave unit make it easier to control the lights all together. It also saves on price. Bluetooth commands will be sent to the Master unit and the slave unit will mirror the command.

The important factor on choosing between 120W or 90W is tank depth. Both units have the same spread (about 36" by 30" if you want to push the max). So the power difference is to reach deeper depths. It also depends on what corals you plan to keep. For tanks 24" deep and more, we recommend using 120W units.
OK I hope and I think Im in the right place... Now that I found out that I need the 120 w because my tank is 25 or 26 inches deep, now how many units would I need? I grow sps and some softies but most is sps, my tank is the 76 gal oceanic 1/2 circle tank. Can you guys help me out with this?
